When is LEGO 76052 Batman Classic TV Series – Batcave Retiring?
This LEGO set was released in March 2016. The LEGO Europe store has announced that the set will be retiring soon. As a general rule, when the LEGO sets are retiring in Europe, US will soon follow. This is very helpful news for LEGO collectors and investors in North America because they have advance warning for its retirement. We have seen this in the past, where a set retires first in one region and then retires in all regions — The Tumbler and Villa Savoye are some great examples. Also, sets in the Super Heroes theme are typically available for 1 to 2 years. For the large exclusive sets like this one, may have an even shorter lifespan. Many people are surprised by the seemingly “early” retirements.
It’s not a set that appeals to me, so I’m skipping it entirely. This year (2017) is filled with awesome new sets that beg for my money!

Hard to tell if this one will really take off after retirement.

I don’t understand why this set is going down from retail price $269.99 even after its retirement… You can but one from Amazon for $159.99. I wonder if this set will start going up higher from this level. If it does then this is a great deal.

Unfortunately, the young crowd doesn’t really into the Classic Batman 🙁
