Will 75159 Death Star Retire This Year?

In general, sets in Ultimate Collector Series have about 2 to 4 years lifespan. 75159 Death Star was released in October 2016 and it’s in the market for about 3 and a half years. So it is very possible for this set to reach the end of its lifespan.

Currently, the LEGO online store has marked the Death Star’s status as “Temporarily out of stock”. In other words, it looks like this is a scenario that some LEGO enthusiasts call “the dance”. The dance means a set will go out of stock and becomes available again multiple times. Eventually, it will go out of stock one last time before it retires.

So if you like this set, act now! This set is so good that even Spider-Man loves it!
