In recent years, LEGO Star Wars sets that based on the new movie have a shorter life span than those based on the original trilogy (Episodes 4 through 6). Those original trilogy sets have a typical lifespan around 2.5 to 3 years. However, sets that based on the new movies generally have about one-year lifespans, like Rogue One sets in 2017. With the new Star Wars Episode IX coming in December this year, LEGO has to make room for the new sets. So Solo: A Star Wars Story sets are in danger to be retired this year.
Like the Solo: A Star Wars Story movie or not, there’s no denying that the sets that based the new movie are both beautiful and well designed! We think the Kessel Run Millennium Falcon looks fantastic 🤗 😍 😘! Star Wars fans and collectors who are planning to buy those sets should act quickly! Purchase the Solo sets before LEGO retires them.
