  1. Are you sure it didn’t mean 3 years in the development? @anon

The Bugatti, 2+ year shelf life, and missing from Summer Catalog all point to retirement to me but of course that’s just me. Either way only time will tell 🙂

  2. And it’s being heavily reduced so I’m going for retiring towards end of year

  3. Can someone help me out here? In the UK store, the set is labeled as “Retiring soon.” In the US store, there’s nothing. Any clues? Is it still gonna retire in the US at the same time as the UK?

    • Thanks for your comment. If the set is retiring in Europe market, it is for sure will be retired in the US market eventually. You can use this time gap to buy sets before they retire 🙂 Hope this help.

  4. Hi, I’m new to this so could you explain does retiring soon mean it will be very hard to buy or based on past experiences if the porsche retires now is it likely to still be able to be bought in a year for a similar price?
    Thanks

    • “Retiring Soon” basically means LEGO will stop producing this set. They will continue to sell the remain stocks until they are sold out. With that being said, the availability of a particular set is varied. For example, when LEGO announced that they would Palace Cinema 10232, the stocks were got quick! However, for 76052 DC Comics Super Heroes Batman Classic TV Series, it was still available long after it “retirement announcement,” and you may sometime score one below the retail price.

For 42056 Porsche 911, we this is possible to buy it with a similar price after it retires.
